Shockwave Therapy Treatments
Shockwave therapy is non-invasive. It involves the targeted delivery of shockwaves to injured soft tissue to reduce pain and promote healing. It stimulates small blood vessel formation and increase the delivery of nutrients to the area to foster healing and alleviate pain. This treatment utilizes acoustic pressure waves that are delivered and focused on the site of pain. These pressure waves stimulate the metabolism, enhance blood circulation and accelerate the healing process. Sessions take approximately 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the site being treated generally 3 to 5 sessions are necessary and are performed on a weekly interval
