Jeanine Chamberlain Emrich

Owner/Operator

With more than 29 years of experience in wellness, mind-body health, fitness, and performance, Jeanine Chamberlain Emrich has built a career around understanding the body as a whole. Her multidisciplinary background spans therapeutic movement, exercise science, performance conditioning, nutrition, recovery, integrative wellness, and advanced aesthetics—an approach that ultimately became the foundation for Here & Zen Wellness & Aesthetics.

For more than two decades, Jeanine held leadership roles within some of the nation’s most prominent fitness organizations, including serving as a Regional Director of Mind/Body and Fitness for a major national brand. Her extensive background in therapeutic exercise, kinesiology, Pilates, yoga, sports nutrition, and performance conditioning has given her a deep understanding of how movement, recovery, nutrition, lifestyle, and overall well-being work together.

Jeanine holds comprehensive 600-hour classical Pilates training in the reformer and full apparatus and has earned recognition as a master-level instructor. Her extensive yoga education includes both 200-hour and 500-hour designations, with advanced study completed in Chennai, India, further shaping her understanding of traditional mind-body practices and Eastern approaches to wellness. She is also a Sports Nutrition Specialist, with additional education and certifications in medical technology, phlebotomy, cardiac monitoring, and advanced wellness modalities.

Throughout her career, Jeanine has worked with high-performance individuals and notable clients including LeBron James, Rory McIlroy, Serena Williams, Tiger Woods, Adam Levine, Steffi Graf, and Shemar Moore, among others seeking an intelligent, highly individualized approach to movement, performance, strength, recovery, and overall well-being.

As a Licensed Aesthetician, Jeanine brings that same individualized, whole-person philosophy to skin health. She specializes in customized, results-driven treatments including customized facials, chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, hydrodermabrasion, advanced exfoliation, and corrective and rejuvenating treatments. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all protocol, she evaluates each client’s skin, concerns, lifestyle, and goals to determine the most appropriate treatment approach—always balancing visible results with the long-term health and integrity of the skin.

For Jeanine, aesthetics is not separate from wellness; it is another dimension of it. The condition of the skin, the way the body moves and recovers, nutrition, stress, lifestyle, and overall well-being are interconnected. This belief in treating the individual rather than simply addressing a single concern is central to her work.

Jeanine’s understanding of movement began long before her career in wellness. Professionally trained as a dancer and actress, she began performing at the age of six and went on to work in television, national campaigns, and stage productions. She was an original cast member of the first New York touring company of the Broadway production Rent, personally selected by creator Jonathan Larson to portray Maureen Johnson. Her performance career also included work with renowned artists including Mia Michaels and Ben Vereen, as well as choreography and instruction at Broadway Dance Center in New York City.

Her commitment to health and performance also took her internationally, serving within the U.S. Armed Services Division, where she taught fitness and nutrition to service members and their families.

Today, as founder of Here & Zen Wellness & Aesthetics, Jeanine brings nearly three decades of education, leadership, and hands-on experience together in one highly personalized approach to care. Here & Zen reflects her belief that meaningful wellness cannot be reduced to a single treatment or modality. Instead, it begins with understanding the individual and thoughtfully bringing together the tools that best support their goals.

Bridging Eastern and Western philosophies, science and experience, wellness and aesthetics, Jeanine has created an environment centered on helping people look better, feel better, move better, recover better, and live better.

A self-described “forever student,” Jeanine continues to expand her education and refine her approach, believing that exceptional care requires not only experience, but curiosity, evolution, and an ongoing commitment to learning.

At the heart of Jeanine’s work—and Here & Zen itself—is a simple philosophy: understand the person first, then create the experience around what they truly need.
